Kahunas is a dynamic and innovative SAAS company dedicated to empowering coaches to manage their clients effectively. We are currently in the process of evolving our platform from a monolithic architecture to a modern, separate frontend solution. We are seeking an expert Lead Frontend Developer to spearhead this transformation.
Job Description:
As the Lead Frontend Developer at Kahunas, you will play a pivotal role in leading the separation of our monolithic platform into a standalone, cutting-edge frontend. You will work closely with our backend team to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. This is a senior-level position requiring deep expertise in modern frontend technologies and frameworks, as well as exceptional leadership and management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of the new frontend solution.
- Collaborate with backend developers to define and integrate APIs.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and responsiveness of the frontend.
- Mentor and guide junior frontend developers.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in frontend development.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Drive the adoption of best practices for CI/CD, testing, and deployment.
- Manage and lead the frontend development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Requirements:

Expertise in Frontend Technologies:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with React, Next.js, and Vue.js.

Experience in Frontend Architecture:
- Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale frontend solutions.
- Experience in separating monolithic architectures to standalone frontend applications.
- Jest and React testing libraries.

Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration.
- Knowledge of server-side rendering and static site generation.
- Experience with GraphQL API.
- Familiarity with modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, Vuex, etc.).
- Proficient in using version control systems (Git).
- Experience in AWS.
- Some experience in PHP to understand current logic.

- Exceptional ability to lead and mentor a team of frontend developers.
