As the Lead Frontend Engineer at Presight, you will lead a talented team of frontend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences for our products. This role combines your technical expertise with leadership skills to shape the vision, strategy, and execution of our frontend solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend engineering, to create scalable, maintainable, and performance-driven user interfaces.

Responsibilities:
- Direct product development from the frontend side: define user experience and secure stakeholder buy-in.
- Create and popularize your own frontend component libraries across the company.
- Conduct code reviews and define both high-level and low-level implementation tasks for the team.
- Participate in use case definitions with the product team and customers.
- Produce markup designs for the team’s use.
- Manage the release process of frontend applications.
- Oversee a small team of 2-3 frontend developers.
- Ensure compliance with policies related to Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of overall experience in developing frontend applications.
- Strong experience with React (minimum 5 years) and Node.js (2-3 years).
- Contributions to open-source projects including code reviews and bug fixes.
- Familiarity with state management packages like Mobx or Redux and strong CSS skills, including knowledge of TailwindCSS.
- Experience with network graph visualization libraries (e.g., Sigma.js, Cytoscape) and chart libraries is a plus.
- Understanding of Elasticsearch queries is desirable.
- Knowledge of image, audio, and video file handling and manipulation.
- Experience with build pipelines on GitHub and GitLab.
