Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering and construction interfaces (both external and internal) related to the project design and construction.
- Promote project integration by defining interface scope, design basis, construction requirements, and objectives.
- Establish best practices and ensure the implementation of detailed work plans and procedures, including Project Execution Plans, Interface Management Plans, and Stakeholder Engagement Plans.
- Serve as the single point of contact for all interface-related communications with stakeholders, including project management teams and the customer’s project teams.
- Manage quality requirements associated with interface management and document compliance with the Project EDMS.
- Address customer perceptions of quality and lead processes for both the customer and Bechtel.
- Manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities while working effectively within a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 10-13 years of relevant experience, or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in utility coordination (telecom, electrical, water, etc.).
- Familiarity with design-build and design-bid-build procurement styles, as well as field construction and constructability knowledge.
- Proficient in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Adobe Design Suite, and Aconex.
- Experience with Contracts, Procurement, and Project Controls throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of Environmental, Safety, and Health practices, along with Quality Management principles on major projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously, with strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (both oral and written).
