Lead Java Developer

Penta Consulting is seeking an exceptional Spring Boot Lead Developer to architect and implement large-scale enterprise web applications for a major system integration client. This role will involve leading a development team and designing robust, high-performance solutions utilizing Spring technologies.

Location: Saudi Arabia (Remote)

Work Conditions: Contract (12 Months Extendable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop enterprise-grade Spring Boot applications with a focus on security, performance, and scalability.
• Design microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop coding standards and architectural guidelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in development practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of Java development experience, with 5+ years using the Spring Framework.
• Expert knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• Strong experience in microservices architecture.
• Proficient in security implementations (OAuth2, JWT, SAML).
• Experience with reactive programming (Spring WebFlux).
• Strong database skills (SQL, ORM, performance optimization).
• Proficient with build tools, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript frameworks).
• Technical leadership experience.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Message broker experience (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of Spring Batch and testing best practices.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Monitoring and observability tools experience.
• Knowledge of security best practices.
• Relevant Spring certifications.

Language Requirements:

• Arabic Speaker & Proficient in English is a must!
