The Lead Network Solution Architect – Port is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing innovative network solutions specific to port operations. This role prioritizes the integration of IT and OT networks with a strong focus on cybersecurity. The individual will support projects related to port expansions and greenfield developments, acting as a key leader in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing network infrastructures that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end network architectures for IT and OT environments within port operations.
- Lead the creation of high-availability networks that support critical port systems.
- Manage network projects for expansions and greenfield developments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical leadership during network project phases, collaborating across teams including automation, engineering, and cybersecurity.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity best practices to protect critical networks.
- Mentor a team of network engineers and foster a culture of innovation.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in port network design and management.
- Strong expertise in IT and OT network design, implementation, and maintenance within port or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and network protocols (e.g., VLANs, SD-WAN, firewalls).
- Proven experience in managing relationships with diverse stakeholders and leading large-scale network projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification; professional certifications such as CCIE are preferred.
