As a Lead Process Engineer, you will leverage your extensive experience in the design of process units, pipelines, utilities, and offsite facilities to oversee projects from the conceptual stage through detailed design. Your expertise in project and process engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, international standards, and codes will be essential for the success of medium to large size projects in the Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbons, and Infrastructure sectors. With a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, you will lead a team of about 10-15 Process Engineers and associated discipline engineers and designers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions on schedule and within budget while maintaining excellent communication with clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Process Engineers and related discipline engineers and designers.
- Oversee the design and development of upstream Oil and Gas Facilities.
- Utilize HYSYS simulation for project analysis, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Scope projects, including defining process deliverables.
- Review and approve essential process deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, Design Basis, Process Narratives, and Equipment Specification documents.
- Review and approve process engineering work plans and basis of design documents.
- Estimate work-hours for various project tasks.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team and clients.
- Ensure design integrity of process engineering scope and performance of assigned staff, maintaining on-schedule project delivery.
- Lead technical presentations for clients and their representatives as required.
- Act as a technical resource for Process Engineers and related Discipline engineers and designers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable procedures and standards (client, the company, and international).
Qualifications & Years of Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 15 years of relevant engineering experience in Oil & Gas.
Key Skills & Technical Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of basic engineering principles, P&ID/PFD development, hydraulic calculations, and equipment sizing.
- Understanding of process simulation methods such as HYSYS and Pipenet.
- Familiarity with key engineering standards and procedures relevant to the region.
- Proven ability to manage responsibility and deliver projects on schedule.
- Experience in firewater demand calculations, industrial drainage design, and familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and NFPA requirements is desirable.
- Proficient in English, both oral and written.
- Excellent technical presentation skills.
