About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Process Safety Engineer with extensive experience in offshore design related to process safety activities throughout all project phases, from conceptual design to detailed execution of medium to large size projects. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of project and process safety engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, as well as relevant international standards and codes. A minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbons, or Infrastructure industries is required. Excellent communication skills are essential to the role.

Responsibilities
- Develop and check calculations, data sheets, technical notes, requisitions, specifications, drawings, and other relevant deliverables within the Discipline.
- Serve as the main focal point for leading, coordinating, planning, and supervising safety engineering tasks assigned in projects to enhance efficiency and quality of work.
- Conduct, organize, and facilitate workshops, including PHA, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and LOPA, while ensuring follow-up on recommendations and findings.
- Possess substantial knowledge in HAZIP and HAZOP workshops, hazard and risk management, fire and explosion analysis (including dispersion analysis), fire protection studies, formal safety assessments, emergency evacuation routes, and design safety reviews/studies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members including engineers, designers, and technical personnel to deliver project execution.
- Maintain familiarity with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
- GCC experience, particularly with Saudi Aramco, is preferred.
- Work independently while fostering a positive work environment.
- Experience in firewater demand calculations, industrial drainage design, and associated equipment, along with familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and NFPA requirements is desirable.
- Provide technical leadership ensuring correct application of procedures and standards (client, the company, and international).
- Proficiency in English (oral and written) is required.
- Excellent technical presentation skills are necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Process Safety or related field.
- 15 years of experience in Offshore Process Safety.
- An Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification from a government-recognized institution is mandatory.
