Lead Procurement (UAE National )

About the Role
Manage and lead the vertical of non-technology in CPD globally and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for non-tech categories such as HR services, Facilities Management, Marketing, and Professional Services. You will be responsible and accountable for the following:

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals focused on strategic sourcing.
• Assign new projects and RFPs within the non-technology procurement team for HR services, Facilities Management, Marketing, and Professional Services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliable service delivery.
• Understand business requirements to ensure the CPD function meets its expected outcomes related to quality, quantity, vendor/supplier satisfaction, end-user satisfaction, and bottom-line contributions.
• Resolve stakeholder queries and concerns.
• Explore new and innovative ideas for automation, modernizing processes, and developing cost-effective and value-added approaches.
• Manage the procurement workflow, ensuring the team issues purchase orders accordingly.
• Optimize the procure-to-pay process to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• Business Graduate, preferably with Procurement Certifications such as CIPS, SPSM, etc.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience leading a procurement function, with the last 4 years in a similar position within a service or banking industry.
• Familiarity with local market dynamics, as well as regional and international markets.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Proven contract development and negotiation skills; exposure to ERP, B2B Systems, eTenders, and eAuctions is essential.
• Excellent relationship management, people management, and networking skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and management skills.
