Responsibilities
- Collaborate and influence leadership to allow the Product Analytics team’s work to impact the organization’s strategy.
- Partner with senior business leaders to manage project intake, prioritize, and manage staffing against key initiatives.
- Execute Product strategy and planning through actionable data insights and concepts.
- Define and maintain critical business metrics using SQL queries.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to build and maintain ETLs and pipelines for accurate business performance analysis.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate results to leadership and provide technical mentorship to the team.
- Monitor data quality, diagnose issues, and create solutions for data problems.
- Answer complex business questions through ad-hoc SQL queries to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics).
- 10+ years of experience in analytics roles, preferably in tech.
- 5+ years of experience directly managing analytical teams.
- Strong command of SQL, Python, and R, with experience in large datasets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with changing priorities.
- Experience in building impactful dashboards and visualizations (using Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Strong project management skills and ability to drive projects end-to-end.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Team-oriented with a passion for team success and ownership.
- Proven experience in managing and growing an analytics team.
- Track record of delivering impactful data-driven projects and shipping new products.
- Strong leadership, communication skills, and critical thinking abilities.
