Position

As the Lead Product Analytics, you will lead the Product Analytics team across multiple domains within the EA ecosystem, collaborating with cross-functional teams globally. You will develop strategies to leverage data analysis and visualization as a strategic competitive advantage for Careem. Additionally, you'll be responsible for growing and coaching analysts to effectively communicate data insights, ensuring their narratives are actionable for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and influence leadership to allow the Product Analytics team’s work to impact the organization’s strategy.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to manage project intake, prioritize, and manage staffing against key initiatives.
  • Execute Product strategy and planning through actionable data insights and concepts.
  • Define and maintain critical business metrics using SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to build and maintain ETLs and pipelines for accurate business performance analysis.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate results to leadership and provide technical mentorship to the team.
  • Monitor data quality, diagnose issues, and create solutions for data problems.
  • Answer complex business questions through ad-hoc SQL queries to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics).
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics roles, preferably in tech.
  • 5+ years of experience directly managing analytical teams.
  • Strong command of SQL, Python, and R, with experience in large datasets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with changing priorities.
  • Experience in building impactful dashboards and visualizations (using Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Strong project management skills and ability to drive projects end-to-end.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Team-oriented with a passion for team success and ownership.
  • Proven experience in managing and growing an analytics team.
  • Track record of delivering impactful data-driven projects and shipping new products.
  • Strong leadership, communication skills, and critical thinking abilities.
