About The Role:
Design at the company intertwines creativity with meticulous attention to detail. We are seeking a Lead Product Designer with a technical edge to help evolve our Design Systems and Core Platform teams. You will play a vital role in shaping the systems that power the company's product experiences.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading cross-platform initiatives and developing our Design Systems team by managing talented designers.
- Defining the vision for internal products and scaling them for commercialization.
- Owning the strategy for the company's Unified Design System, enhancing its efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Brand teams to implement system-wide improvements that enhance user experiences.
- Defining design principles and tools that support product teams across the company.
- Balancing individual contributions with leadership, using tools like Figma to execute high-quality design solutions.
What You'll Need:
- 10+ years of experience designing and leading design systems or platform teams in dynamic environments.
- Proven ability to evolve and scale design systems effectively.
- Experience in managing and mentoring designers while remaining hands-on.
- Expertise in Figma and a passion for creating functional, aesthetically pleasing designs.
- Excellent collaborative and communication skills within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to make sound product and design decisions in complex scenarios.
- A passion for creating robust, scalable systems and a commitment to design excellence.
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail.
