Details / Responsibilities

  • Be a team leader, manage, and deliver the Manifa IK project.
  • Manage coordination and communication with other disciplines, key suppliers, and sub-contractors.
  • Lead all project team members and functions to deliver the project, which includes HSE, QA, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sub-Contracts.
  • Consult with Quality Assurance on any quality issues, ensuring compliance with ISO Quality procedures, Project Quality Plan, and Design Integrity processes and procedures.
  • Assist and support all team members, including the project engineering team.
  • Provide support during fabrication, site construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments and technical innovations in Project Management; knowledge and awareness of AWP will be advantageous.
  • Lead overall quality of the project including budget, schedule, plans, and personnel performance, and report regularly on project status.
  • Cooperate and communicate with other Engineering disciplines and Project Stakeholders to provide assistance and technical support as needed.
  • Review deliverables submitted by sub-contractors, including project schedules, budgets, and change management.
  • Conduct regular meetings with internal teams, key sub-contractors, and Proponent.
  • Delegate tasks to team members based on their skill sets, experience, and abilities to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Monitor project budget.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports, and presentations; deliver presentations as required.
  • Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals.
  • Document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients.
  • Monitor adherence to performance standards, specifications, QA/QC rules, and related regulations and processes.
  • Establish systems to collect data and measure the project’s metrics.
  • Organize techniques for conducting field tests and for assessing their quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Project/Business Management.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years in similar positions.
  • Must have EPC delivery experience.
  • Experience in both office and site environments.
  • Proficient in using relevant software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical issues to peers and line manager (both written and verbal).
  • Solid understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction principles, equipment standards, codes, and construction practices relevant to the industry.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including skills in planning, scheduling, resource allocation, cost control, and contract management.
  • Strong capability in identifying hazards and mitigating risks.
  • Ownership and responsibility for work by self and team members.
  • Strong leadership capabilities in project management.
  • Ability to motivate and guide team members, resolve conflicts, and make informed decisions.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to engage audiences during presentations.
  • Professional commitment to following appropriate codes of professional conduct while recognizing obligations to society, the profession, and the environment.
  • Capabilities in estimating and forecasting.
