We are looking for a Lead Python Software Engineer to join our Commercial Systems unit, which consists of several collaborative engineering teams. The focus of this role will be on the Integrations team, responsible for automating SAAS user management and integrating internal/external data sources into our data mesh, utilizing open-source ETL solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering solutions leveraging Python
- Collaborate with teams on technical designs and code reviews
- Deploy and operate services developed by the team
- Depending on your seniority, provide coaching, mentorship, and career development feedback
- Promote great engineering and organizational practices
What We Are Looking For:
- Exceptional academic achievements from high school and university
- Undergraduate degree in a technical field or relevant experience
- Proven experience in software development using Python
- Professional written and spoken English with strong presentation skills
- Results-oriented with a personal drive to meet commitments
- Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events (up to two weeks long)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Performance engineering and security experience
- Familiarity with Airbyte, Ranger, Temporal, or Trino
