Role Summary:
The Lead Researcher will spearhead advanced AI research initiatives, driving innovation and contributing to the development of cutting-edge technologies. This role encompasses leading research projects from conception to completion, mentoring junior researchers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical advancements into practical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct original research in AI, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision.
- Oversee research projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement novel algorithms and models for real-world applications.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI and integrate emerging technologies into research.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to apply research findings.
- Present research outcomes through reports, presentations, and publications in top-tier conferences.
- Guide and mentor junior researchers and interns on methodologies and project execution.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and responsible AI practices.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of research experience in AI or related domains.
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and big data technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with reinforcement learning, generative AI, or multimodal systems.
- Knowledge of AI ethics and regulatory compliance.
- Grant writing and securing research funding.
