This is a leadership role focused on owning and advancing our global security framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure security, cloud security (especially Azure), and CI/CD pipeline protection, with prior experience in the fintech, banking, or trading platform/exchange environments. You will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and oversight of enterprise-wide security solutions and lead a team to execute best-in-class security practices across our global footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate as the enacted Product Owner for the global Security Framework, driving strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Lead security projects from design through deployment, delivering scalable and effective solutions across multi-vendor cloud environments.
- Develop Security Solution Patterns to ensure consistent, compliant deployment of cloud and infrastructure services.
- Implement and configure security solutions, including cloud compute systems, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as SOC2 and ISO 27001.
- Review existing security controls and lead enhancements to improve resilience and protection.
- Research emerging security technologies and assess threats to align technical solutions with business requirements.
- Develop strategies to manage increasing volumes of audits and compliance checks.
- Lead the incident response process during security events to ensure timely resolution and documentation.
- Support automation efforts for secure deployments and collaborate with developers to maintain secure coding practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in cybersecurity, ideally within fintech, banking, or trading/exchange platforms.
- Deep expertise in infrastructure and cloud security, particularly in Microsoft Azure environments.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline security and DevSecOps practices.
- Hands-on experience in vulnerability testing and secure architecture review.
- Track record of contributing to successful SOC2/ISO 27001 certification programs.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Azure Security Engineer Associate).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
