Lead Software Engineer

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end user journeys for Open Finance products, which include consent flows, account aggregation, payment initiation, and data sharing experiences. Your key responsibilities will involve:

• Creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile platforms.
• Translating complex financial and regulatory requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences.
• Designing experiences for multi-stakeholder ecosystems, ensuring compliance with Open Finance and regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with product owners, engineering teams, API architects, and business stakeholders to enhance user experiences.
• Conducting user research, usability testing, and design validation to continuously improve product adoption and user satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in banking, fintech, or financial services.
• Hands-on experience designing Open Banking/Open Finance or API-driven platforms.
• A strong portfolio showcasing complex workflows, data-heavy dashboards, and consent-based journeys.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC financial regulations or global Open Banking standards is a plus.
