We are looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to join our Technology team, which is responsible for building the systems and experiences that power the company. The role predominantly involves maintaining clean and efficient code and drives clean architecture by focusing on Test Driven Development (TDD), Domain Driven Design (DDD), and continuous integration/delivery practices. As part of the SSO team, you will work on providing a secure and scalable authentication method across the ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Develop microservices and evolve our architecture.
Perfect systems related to risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing.
Focus on greenfield development and the enhancement of existing systems.

Requirements:

Fluency with Java.
6+ years of experience in backend development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
Be a quick learner with an ambitious attitude and result-driven personality.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Fluency in English.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Kotlin or Scala.
Background in finance.
Experience in a startup or scale-up.
Experience in a product-focused environment.
