Job Description:
As an AI-Enabled SDLC Specialist / Software Development Acceleration Lead, you will focus on enhancing the software development process by integrating AI-assisted methodologies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing current software delivery practices and identifying opportunities for AI enhancement.
- Designing AI-assisted workflows for various stages of the SDLC.
- Defining practical usage patterns for GitHub Copilot and developing templates and playbooks.
- Training and coaching teams on effective and responsible AI utilization.
- Improving SDLC practices including backlog refinement and automated testing.
- Collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment of AI-assisted practices with internal standards.
- Establishing KPIs to evaluate the success of implemented strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of the full SDLC, including all development stages.
- Hands-on experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and code review methods.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.
- Ability to formulate engineering workflows and improve productivity through AI capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in AI adoption programs or developer productivity initiatives.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and engineering metrics.
- Diverse experience in software engineering roles or process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in SDLC optimization and AI-assisted software development is highly valued.
