Lead Software Engineer

About the Job:
The company is seeking a Lead Software Engineer experienced in Android development with a strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java. The candidate will be responsible for building native Android applications from scratch. Key requirements include:

• Expertise in Core Languages: Proficient in Kotlin and Java, with strong experience in Android Studio, Gradle, Android SDK, and Google Play Services.
• Architecture & Design Patterns: Skilled in implementing Clean Architecture principles and familiar with MVVM, MVP, and MVI architectural patterns.
• Modern UI Development: Proficient with Jetpack Compose to create responsive interfaces following Material Design guidelines and capable of developing custom composables.
• Libraries & Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Retrofit2, Dagger/Hilt, Coroutines & Flow.
• Data Management: Experience with SQLite, Room Database, and secure local storage solutions.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Familiar with JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, and mobile security practices including SSL pinning and OAuth 2.0.
• CI/CD & Automation: Experienced with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and continuous integration practices.

Preferred Experience:

• A minimum of 5+ years in software engineering within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience in banking or financial services, particularly with Banking APIs and Open Banking standards.
