Lead Software Engineer

About the Job:
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with substantial experience in deploying end-to-end BPM solutions and strong capabilities in Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on Flowable BPM, and a proven record of embedding and operating process engines at scale. Experience in banking, fintech, or regulated financial services is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy BPM solutions using Flowable BPM, Java 17+, and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Engage in end-to-end process testing, utilizing tools such as GitHub Actions and Maven/Gradle.
• Handle PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and integrate OAuth2/OIDC for secure applications.
• Collaborate on intelligent process automation solutions and event-sourcing patterns.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience; 4+ years with Flowable or related BPM tools.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot development skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Offshore Development Center experience is advantageous.
• Certifications in OMG BPMN or Flowable preferred.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with low-code platforms like Flowable Work.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards related to trade finance.
• Familiarity with CBUAE Open Banking API frameworks.
• Experience with RPA tools for legacy system integration.
