Key Responsibilities
- Application Development: Design, build, and deploy robust cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Java.
- Native Bridging: Develop custom Native Modules and Bridges in Java to connect React Native with native Android APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Backend Integration: Consume and optimize secure RESTful APIs built on Java frameworks (Spring Boot/Microservices).
- Performance Tuning: Diagnose, profile, and fix complex performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and UI rendering issues across devices.
- UI/UX Implementation: Translate complex Figma/Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive mobile screens using Flexbox and React Native components.
- State Management: Implement scalable state management architectures using libraries like Redux, Redux-Saga, or Context API.
- Testing & Deployment: Write automated unit/integration tests (Jest, JUnit) and manage standard mobile deployment pipelines to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Frontend (React Native & JavaScript)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Core understanding of React fundamentals (components, hooks, state, props, and lifecycle methods).
- Deep knowledge of mobile-specific hurdles: navigation (React Navigation), deep linking, and offline data storage (SQLite, Realm).
Backend & Native (Java)
- Strong foundation in Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Hands-on experience developing native Android applications or building custom React Native Android Native Modules using Java/Android Studio.
- Familiarity with the Java/Spring Boot ecosystem and architectural concepts like microservices and MVC.
General Engineering
- Experience with relational or non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Version control mastery using Git (branching, merging, pull requests).
- Familiarity with CI/CD automation pipelines for mobile builds (Fastlane, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
- Strong problem-solving skills and capability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of native iOS development (Swift/Objective-C and Xcode) is a major plus.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
