Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans for PX4 firmware and mission computers.
- Lead integration tests for UAV hardware and software.
- Validate autonomous algorithms and mission planning.
- Identify and resolve integration issues with software, hardware, and AI teams.
- Analyze flight logs and telemetry data for performance enhancement.
- Implement automated testing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards through system integration processes.
- Oversee Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and flight simulator tests.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with PX4 software, mission computers, and autonomous systems.
- Proven experience in leading integration testing for complex autonomous systems.
- Strong knowledge of flight control systems, UAV communication protocols, and test automation frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with UAV operations.
- Familiarity with AI-driven autonomy or machine learning systems.
- Knowledge of robotics middleware (e.g., ROS).
- Proficiency in Python or C++.
- Experience with advanced UAV simulators (e.g., Gazebo, AirSim).
