Position

We are searching for a Lead Software Integration Tester with expertise in PX4 software, mission computers, and autonomous UAV systems. This role will focus on overseeing the planning, design, and execution of complex test cases to ensure successful hardware and software integration for mission-critical autonomous drones. The successful candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to troubleshoot and validate UAV functionality, ensuring the reliability of autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans for PX4 firmware and mission computers.
  • Lead integration tests for UAV hardware and software.
  • Validate autonomous algorithms and mission planning.
  • Identify and resolve integration issues with software, hardware, and AI teams.
  • Analyze flight logs and telemetry data for performance enhancement.
  • Implement automated testing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards through system integration processes.
  • Oversee Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and flight simulator tests.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with PX4 software, mission computers, and autonomous systems.
  • Proven experience in leading integration testing for complex autonomous systems.
  • Strong knowledge of flight control systems, UAV communication protocols, and test automation frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with UAV operations.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven autonomy or machine learning systems.
  • Knowledge of robotics middleware (e.g., ROS).
  • Proficiency in Python or C++.
  • Experience with advanced UAV simulators (e.g., Gazebo, AirSim).
