Position

The Lead Solution Architect - Integration is responsible for the integration and interoperability architecture that connects the airport ecosystem, including airports, airlines, ground handlers, government agencies, retail, and partners. This role will lead the design of integration standards, govern the integration team, and ensure a seamless, resilient data flow across a complex, multi-vendor environment operating 24/7.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integration Architecture: Own and define integration architecture, patterns, and standards (APIs, ESB/iPaaS, messaging, event-driven design). Design interfaces across airport operational systems and external stakeholders adhering to industry standards (IATA, A-CDM).
  • Resilience, Security & Operations: Design integrations for high availability and robust error handling. Ensure security and data protection in integration flows while defining monitoring and observability for interfaces.
  • Leadership & Delivery: Lead and mentor integration architects, govern integration quality, support planning and risk assessment for the integration domain, and engage stakeholders and vendors.

Skills & Experience:

  • Essential: Extensive experience in leading complex, multi-system integration projects. Deep knowledge of APIs/REST, ESB/iPaaS (like MuleSoft, Azure Integration), messaging (Kafka, MQ), and event-driven design. Proficiency in interface specification, data mapping, and API design. Experience in designing resilient and secure integrations for mission-critical systems. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of aviation standards/systems and integration/cloud certifications (MuleSoft, Azure, AWS). Experience in aviation, transport, or critical infrastructure environments is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Integration, cloud, and/or security certifications are strongly preferred.
