Position

We are seeking a Lead Specialist, Control Platform II to design, develop, and govern enterprise control platforms that operate within defined security, financial, and operational guardrails. This role acts as a bridge between platform architecture and hands-on implementation, ensuring that control platforms are secure, automated, reliable, and fit for 24×7 operations across complex industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Policy-as-Code and automated control frameworks across cloud and on-prem environments.
Define and maintain enterprise guardrails for provisioning, access, compliance, and platform health.
Work closely with Platform Architecture to translate designs into scalable, production-ready solutions.
Drive automation and self-service through Infrastructure-as-Code and standardized workflows.
Lead troubleshooting of complex control-plane issues across enterprise platforms.
Ensure availability, resilience, DR, and operational readiness for mission-critical systems.
Govern vendor and third-party access to the company's digital platforms.
Support financial governance (FinOps) through cost controls, alerts, and spend optimization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or control platforms.
Experience operating at Lead / Level II scope with ownership of platform standards.
Strong knowledge of platform governance and control frameworks, Infrastructure-as-Code and automation, and cloud and hybrid environments.
Ability to operate confidently in industrial, 24×7 operational contexts.
Strong stakeholder engagement and decision-making skills.
