Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in data engineering/integration with hands-on experience delivering virtualization or semantic layer solutions.
  • Experience supporting production data access services with performance, security, and reliability requirements.

  • Takes end-to-end ownership for delivery and outcomes.
  • Works effectively across engineering, governance, and business teams.
  • Delivers robust solutions with strong quality and reliability.
  • Improves performance, cost, and operability over time.
  • Guides teams and vendors through technical leadership.

Skills

  • Data virtualization concepts (abstraction, federation, semantic layers), query optimization, and caching strategies.
  • Strong understanding of access governance, auditing, and security controls for data access services.
  • Ability to design consumable data services aligned to enterprise definitions and models.
  • Operational support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for production data services.
  • Stakeholder management with BI teams, application teams, and governance stakeholders.
