Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and incorporating future service management needs into a detailed multi-year roadmap across support areas.
- Supporting the achievement of performance goals, budget goals, and team objectives.
- Skillfully generating custom reports and maintaining Knowledgebase documentation.
- Managing and maintaining data storage systems to ensure data availability, integrity, and security.
- Deploying and configuring virtualization environments, as well as installation of storage systems from vendors such as Dell, IBM, and HPE.
- Collaborating with senior engineers to support and maintain data center infrastructure.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including Low-Level Design (LLD) and As-Built documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 6+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role.
- Proven experience in infrastructure technology management.
- Proficiencies in technical knowledge and teamwork.
- A continuous learner that stays abreast of industry knowledge and technology.
Other Qualifications:
- An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Candidates should have strong working knowledge of Dell PowerMax, ScaleIO, Isilon, Dell Data Protection, and Data Domain (incl. CRS).
- Relevant storage and backup or infrastructure certifications are a strong advantage, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Certified Cloud Practitioner.
