The Lead Technical Architect (LTA), also known as Solution Architect or Principal Technical Consultant, is a senior role within a project team. This position involves establishing and communicating the overall architectural and non-functional solution design, working closely with both project teams and clients. Responsibilities include:
- Designing viable technical solutions compatible with business solutions and project plans.
- Acting as an architectural leader and trusted advisor to clients.
- Managing complex technical challenges and leading technical teams in resolution efforts.
- Evaluating and offering mitigation strategies for technical risks.
- Ensuring successful implementation of products.
- Overseeing the development of integration interfaces, APIs, and other integration technologies.
- Traveling to client sites as necessary.
Skills Required:
- A minimum of ten years of experience in software technical consultancy, including T24 implementation experience in a banking environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Infobasic, Java, and Javascript.
- Experience with Application Servers (jBOSS, Web Sphere, Web Logic) and various operating systems (Windows, RedHat Linux, IBM AIX).
- Strong understanding of RDBMS including MSSQL, DB2, and Oracle.
- Familiarity with mainframes and concepts such as Integration, Internet Security, and Process Orchestration.
- Awareness of industry trends and strong product knowledge.
