Lead UX Designer

We have an immediate vacancy for a Lead UX Designer with 10+ years of experience at Synechron, based in Abu Dhabi. The Lead UX Designer will be responsible for delivering a User Experience and Design framework across Consumer Digital Channels, utilizing best practice user experience and design thinking principles. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing thinking, service design, and user experience/interface design across all digital platforms.
• Building and leading a talented team of UX designers.
• Embedding design thinking across all digital delivery.

The ideal candidate must possess an inquisitive and logical approach and stay updated with the latest digital techniques. Responsibilities will also involve leveraging market and customer insights to shape the digital experience across the bank’s channels.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience managing user experience and design in a digital environment.
• Passion for Digital User Experience and User Interface Design.
• Strong communication and planning skills.
• Experience in implementing design systems and using tools such as Sketch and Figma.
• Experience liaising with design agencies.
• Experience in Agile methodologies related to strategy, requirements definition, design, usability, content development, web development, and QA.
