Lead Web UI Developer

Responsibilities

• Build applications with a focus on throughput, latency, and resiliency
• Develop and communicate technical vision and strategy
• Lead team development and skill growth
• Maintain hands-on involvement in software development
• Craft robust and scalable UI application architectures
• Identify and evaluate new technologies for enhancement
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs
• Ensure data systems are optimized for performance and scalability

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial-grade web/front-end development experience
• Strong experience in modern JavaScript, ideally TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, and/or Vue
• Skills in interacting with multiple types of API formats, preferably REST and GraphQL
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Demonstrable team leadership experience
• Knowledge of global financial markets and financial products is a strong plus
• Education: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related work experience
