About the Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day legal work of the group, which includes drafting, negotiating, and closing contracts according to the group's standards. Your role will involve maintaining corporate governance and collaborating with the General Counsel and external counsel on specific matters. The Managing Director is the only individual authorized to sign contracts under the Delegation of Authority, making it crucial for you to ensure the quality of all documents submitted for approval. You will take files from their initial draft stages to signatures, manage the company's positions on exclusivity, margin protection, and first right of refusal for Frontier, and discern which issues require the attention of the General Counsel. This position is intended for a qualified lawyer who is at the early stage of their career and prefers being the sole counsel rather than one among many. You will have the opportunity to shape the legal function, which is set to grow next year.

What You Will Own
- Partner & Commercial Contracting — Handle NDAs, MOUs, term sheets, referral and revenue-share agreements, and Scopes of Work from initial draft to signature through the Delegation of Authority process.
- Templates & Playbooks — Develop recurring instruments such as partner referral agreements, Partner Revenue Share terms, Scopes of Work, NDAs, employment contracts, and amendments to facilitate the closure of most files on standard agreements.
- Corporate Housekeeping — Manage board and shareholder resolutions, maintain registers, and handle the shareholders’ agreement and share plan documentation for both the holding and Saudi operating companies, in collaboration with the Governance and Nomination and Remuneration Committee (GNRC).
- Employment & Regulatory — Oversee contracts, performance-bonus amendments, policies, and compliance with Saudi labor law alongside the People function; manage regulatory aspects concerning data, licensing, and clearance-bound activity with the company Defense Industries.
- Intellectual Property — Supervise engineering IP at the group level, clarify partner IP boundaries during deployments, and protect company-developed capabilities in the productization process.

- Judgement — You are pragmatic regarding commercial issues while steadfast on critical points, escalating issues appropriately with clear justifications.
- Qualifications — A qualified lawyer with a law degree and an admission to practice is essential. Experience in Saudi Arabia or significant exposure to the Saudi legal landscape, preferably in technology, commercial, or corporate law is required. Fluency in legal drafting in English is mandatory, with Arabic proficiency viewed as advantageous. The quality and relevance of your past transactions matter more than the length of your professional experience.
