We serve a diverse range of organizations including sovereign wealth funds, government investment vehicles, leading regional and international corporates, international and regional banks, and some of the most successful regional and international private equity houses, assisting them with their most complex and strategically important transactions.

Our core sectors cover financial institutions, energy (especially oil & gas), utilities, healthcare, retail and consumer, and telecommunications, where we advise on outbound investments globally, as well as mandates throughout the region, including the GCC and wider MENA.

Our practice is consistently ranked Band 1 across the Middle East by all leading legal research directories.

Based in Riyadh, our Saudi team comprises lawyers supported by our offices in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and our international network. We collaborate daily on local and international transactions, ensuring clients receive seamless service across all aspects of Saudi law. Our Global M&A and Capital (GMAC) Practice is the company’s MENA’s largest, with over 45 lawyers throughout the region, including 9 partners.

Role Summary
Having advised clients in the MENA region for over 40 years and built a strong presence in Saudi Arabia over the past 17 years, we are recognized as leaders in the legal market, acting on many significant deals while securing key regional clients. Following another strong year, our MENA Global M&A and Capital practice has a solid pipeline of work with high-profile, sophisticated clients in the region, and we are looking to recruit legal trainees to join the GMAC practice in Riyadh.

The role will involve a broad mix of transactions and matters, predominantly with significant international dimensions. Legal trainees will gain exposure to a variety of commercial law areas and may participate in matters with the MENA Dispute Resolution team when appropriate.

  • Involvement in high-profile transactions and providing legal support where necessary.
  • Contribute to developing and deepening relationships with existing key clients.
  • Participate in research, translations, business development, knowledge management, and other tasks as assigned by the MENA GMAC and DR teams as appropriate.

Key Requirements

  • KSA national.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law completed at a recognized university in KSA.
  • Completed registration or willingness to register for a training licence with the Saudi Ministry of Justice as a Legal Trainee.
