About the Role
The company connects specialists with project-based AI opportunities for leading tech companies, focused on testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems. This is a project-based opportunity primarily for US-based practicing physicians to contribute to health-focused AI training projects at scale. General medicine is the main focus, but specialists in cardiology, radiology, and other tracks are also welcome. Contributors may be involved in the following tasks:
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated health content: review responses to clinical questions, assess medical accuracy and safety, and label outputs against clear quality criteria.
- Create complex, realistic tasks that challenge frontier AI agents, such as handling scattered patient data, conditional clinical procedures, and requiring genuine diagnostic reasoning.
- Build a detailed version with objective scoring, then write an ambiguous version intended to train the agent with less guidance while maintaining real clinical complexity. You're improving the AI tools you'll eventually use yourself.

What We Look For
This opportunity is ideal for US-based medical professionals who are open to part-time, non-permanent projects. Ideally, contributors will have:
- A degree in Medicine, or a degree in a related field (nursing, psychology, dietetics, etc.) with clinical training that includes diagnosing and managing medical conditions.
- A current, valid US license to practice (medical license for physicians; the relevant state license for adjacent roles, such as RN, licensed psychologist, or RDN).
- Active clinical practice, with 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience (board certification is a plus).
- Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
- We encourage applications from experienced individuals, including specialists and senior practitioners.
Project Time Expectations
Tasks for this project are estimated to require around 10-20 hours per week during active phases, depending on project requirements. This estimate is not a guaranteed workload and applies only while the project is active. Tasks must be submitted by the deadline and meet the listed acceptance criteria to be accepted.
Compensation
Compensation is based on accepted tasks. Your rate depends on the qualification tier you achieve and how efficiently you complete tasks, with earnings potentially reaching up to the equivalent of $240/hour. As payment is per approved task, a faster pace can enhance your effective hourly rate.
