What This Opportunity Involves
As a contributor, you will engage in unique project-based tasks, which may include:
- Annotating and evaluating AI-generated health content, including reviewing responses to clinical questions, assessing medical accuracy and safety, and labeling outputs against clearly defined quality criteria.
- Creating complex, realistic tasks that push the limits of frontier AI agents by incorporating elements like scattered patient data, conditional clinical procedures, and genuine diagnostic reasoning.
- Building detailed versions of these tasks with objective scoring, as well as writing ambiguous versions designed to train the AI agent to perform well with less guidance, emphasizing real clinical complexity. Your efforts will contribute to the improvement of the AI tools that you will eventually use yourself.
- Expanding into adjacent clinical roles by considering contributions from nurses, psychologists, dietitians, and other licensed professionals.
What We Look For
This opportunity is suitable for US-based medical professionals who are open to part-time, non-permanent projects. Ideal candidates will have:
- A degree in Medicine, or a degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, psychology, dietetics) that includes clinical training relevant to diagnosing and managing medical conditions.
- A current, valid US license to practice, including medical licenses for physicians or the relevant state licenses for adjacent roles (e.g., RN, licensed psychologist, RDN).
- Active clinical practice with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on clinical experience (board certification is a plus).
- Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
- Experience is welcome, including specialists and senior practitioners.
Project Time Expectations
Tasks for this project are estimated to require around 10-20 hours per week during active phases, depending on specific project requirements. Please note that this is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload, applicable only while the project is active. Tasks must be submitted by the deadlines and meet the listed acceptance criteria to be considered for acceptance.
Compensation
Compensation is provided per accepted task, with rates dependent on the qualification tier achieved and the efficiency of task completion, reaching up to the equivalent of $240/hour. Since payment is per approved task, completing tasks at a faster pace can increase your effective hourly rate.
