Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS)
  • Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Configure and maintain services such as DNS, NFS, FTP, and web servers
  • Automate routine tasks using shell scripting (Bash, Python)
