Linux and Windows Administrator

About the Role
We are currently looking for a Linux and Windows Administrator for our operations in Qatar. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of server environments and providing support for both Linux and Windows systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and administer Linux and Windows servers.
• Monitor server performance, availability, capacity, and system health.
• Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades, patching, and security updates.
• Manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user access management.
• Administer Linux distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ubuntu, and CentOS.
• Troubleshoot server, operating system, network, and application-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, authentication, and access controls.

Requirements

• Strong experience in administrating Windows and Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and network services like DNS and DHCP.
• Proficient in troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of security best practices and system patching procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
