This position is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for Linux and customer success to build a career at the company. You will deliver an exceptional technical support experience for both Desktop and Server systems, managing customer cases from problem qualification to resolution. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a service-oriented approach. You will prioritize customer issues, engage with customers through various channels, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Work Conditions:

  • This is a globally remote role.
  • Participation in a weekend working rotation.
  • Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events, lasting up to two weeks.

Language Requirements:

  • Professional written and spoken English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve complex customer issues relating to the company's products, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Own and manage support cases per our Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Collaborate with customers via phone, ticketing systems, and remote sessions.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles, sharing resources and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional academic track record and an undergraduate degree in a technical subject or relevant experience.
  • Experience in Linux troubleshooting and integration with other environments (authentication/directory services, network file systems, etc.)
  • Strong ability to navigate stack traces and logs.
  • Understanding of OS and application-level bugs, including when to escalate.
  • Programming fundamentals in any language.
  • Extensive customer support experience.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to set clear expectations.
