Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Developing software for Ubuntu Core and snapd.
- Optimizing silicon software and kernel drivers for various hardware.
- Engaging with the broader open-source community.
- Writing high-quality software and contributing to technical documentation.
- Collaborating with globally distributed teams and contributing to the development of device OS images.
What We Are Looking For:
- Exceptional academic track record; degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
- Fluency in at least one of Golang, C, C++, or Rust.
- Professional written and spoken English is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability are essential.
Additional Skills That You Might Bring:
- Familiarity with Debian/Ubuntu packaging and build systems.
- Knowledge of firmware, power management, and computer architecture.
- Experience in electrical engineering design tools.
