Job Description:
As a Linux L3 Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Performing end-to-end Linux administration tasks.
- Fixing performance issues and operational bottlenecks.
- Troubleshooting and providing fixes with L3 actions for system issues or components.
- Conducting prompt analysis and mitigation actions.
- Administering high availability (HA) of infrastructure systems on RHEL, OEL & AIX.
- Managing the IaaS Linux instances across multiple cloud platforms.
- Monitoring infrastructure and validating reporting.
- Overseeing patch management for cloud and on-prem physical & virtual servers.
- Ensuring security compliance, system tuning, and adherence to best practices and CIS hardening standards.
Must Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience in LMV operations and LV migration across servers.
- Proficiency in system hardening with knowledge of Linux HA cluster and GFS2 clusters.
- Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments and familiarity with Linux scripting languages.
- Understanding of Linux firewalls and proficiency with network tools like iptables.
- Experience using configuration management tools such as Puppet and Chef is a plus, along with experience with RedHat Satellite Manager and RHUI.
- RedHat certification is expected; Cloud certification with Azure/Oracle/IBM Cloud is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals and advanced Linux skills (RHCSA, RHCSE).
