Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and maintain the long-term roadmap and architectural strategy for the Linux environment.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing Linux Engineering team.
- Establish governance, standards, and best practices for system configuration and maintenance.

Operational Excellence and Infrastructure Management:
- Lead the support, administration, and maintenance of all Linux servers across client infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure components in virtualized and on-premises Linux environments.
- Ensure system stability, uptime, and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

Architecture and Engineering:
- Manage the architectural design and operational framework for the enterprise Linux environment.
- Develop and maintain system-level tools and automations using shell scripting (Bash) and Python.
- Drive the adoption of automation and Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

Performance, Reliability, and Testing:
- Analyze Linux systems, conduct performance benchmarking, and perform usability testing.
- Ensure environments supporting trading systems meet low-latency and high-availability requirements.

Troubleshooting and Support:
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of failures and incidents across the Linux server estate.
- Provide high-quality support with a focus on resilience and operational excellence.
