The Partner Engineering Team at the company seeks open-source enthusiasts to work across the full Linux stack, ensuring new silicon technologies are optimized for innovative hardware solutions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to collaborating within a distributed team, fostering a user-friendly ecosystem for Ubuntu, evaluating contributions to maintain software standards, assisting customers in application integration, and working on a variety of technologies including servers, HPC systems, IoT, and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating proactively within a distributed team.
  • Fostering seamless user experiences for all Ubuntu users.
  • Evaluating contributions to maintain high software quality.
  • Debugging issues on open source and team-maintained code.
  • Supporting customer integration of apps, SDKs, and OS images.
  • Maintaining Ubuntu and silicon features across diverse platforms.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling alternative path.
  • Passion for technology and collaborative environments.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
  • Experience or interest in Linux distribution packaging and open source contributions.
