Summary
- Core Skills – RHEL 7/8/9, Satellite, IPA/LDAP, Redhat Cluster, VA/Patch Security Remediations, Linux Filesystems, NFS/CIFS disk allocation, Oracle Disk allocations
- Basic knowledge - VMware, Virtualization, SAN/NAS integrations, ITIL, and process

- Expert Technical experience - Primary Skills Redhat (Linux/Unix Admin)
- Hands-on experience of Linux patching using Redhat Satellite / YUM
- Experience in third-party repositories and patching
- Handle knowledge on Oracle disk mappings and udev rules configurations
- Updating Security patches and troubleshooting boot issues and kernel panics
- Resource should know the security patches and understand the impact of applying the fixes
- Good reporting knowledge from satellite and advance knowledge in the same
- Must-have skills on Linux OS recovery from backup
- Should know the recovery knowledge of bare metal Linux server from backup
- Knowledge in LDAP integrations and user management
- Good knowledge and experience on IDM/IPA skills
- Hands-on experience of PCS & basic knowledge of Veritas Cluster
- Good knowledge and experience on Redhat Linux 6.x/7.x/8.x, Redhat Satellite, Ansible, Unix shells, and scripting
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux booting process & system startups
- Better work experience in VMware 6/7 to have provisioning the servers
- Good to have SSH configuration and troubleshooting on public key-based authentication
- PAM based configuration and troubleshooting
- Sound knowledge of services like NFS, NTP, and utilities like tar, top, sar, ssh
- Hands-on experience on LVM, ZFS, UFS, SVM, etc
- Working knowledge and experience of different types of storages (NAS/SAN) drive configurations in Linux
- Troubleshooting of boot issue, LVM issues, etc
- Server performance monitoring and analysis
- Good knowledge of ITSM process, adhere to SLA response
- Knowledge of Unix shell scripting would be an added advantage
- Working knowledge of DRP (disaster recovery plan) and BCP (business continuity plan)
- Able to translate business requirements and needs into technical requirements
