Linux System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise Linux environments, virtualization platforms, container technologies, and supporting infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux administration, Kubernetes, virtualization, storage, backup solutions, and enterprise application support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and secure Linux operating systems.
• Manage virtualization platforms including VMware and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization.
• Administer enterprise services including TCP/IP, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and NTP.
• Deploy and maintain LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) environments, including SSL configuration.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, containerized applications, and CI/CD environments.
• Administer file sharing services (NFS, CIFS, SMB) and monitor server health, performance, and availability.
• Review system and application logs, perform troubleshooting, hardware upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Manage Commvault backup and recovery solutions.
• Support OpenStack/OpenShift environments and enterprise applications.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, Kubernetes, and OpenStack/OpenShift.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP), and Active Directory integration.
• Experience with Bash, Python, Perl, or Ruby scripting.
• Familiarity with Java, Apache Tomcat, and JBoss.
• Experience with Commvault backup solutions.
• Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Experience with enterprise storage technologies such as Pure Storage (SAN/NAS), IBM SAN, and Oracle ZFS.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or OpenStack) is an advantage.
