Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor quality indicators across Ubuntu products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ubuntu Desktop, Server, and Core.
- Enhance continuous integration to ensure quality in releases.
- Report on KPIs and provide analytical insights.
- Develop, enhance, and automate test cases from unit tests to end-to-end multi-machine workloads.
Work Conditions:
- This is a fully remote role with the opportunity to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks per event.
Requirements:
- Strong background in software engineering, Linux, and open source.
- In-depth knowledge of Python and Shell scripting.
- Experience with C/C++.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with quality processes and continuous integration tools.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Debian/Ubuntu based operating systems and understanding of Debian packaging and snaps.
