You will analyze performance bottlenecks and provide solutions through root cause analysis of Linux and AIX systems. Collaborating on disaster recovery readiness and participating in high-availability testing will be essential parts of your role. You will provide technical support in infrastructure services, contribute to infrastructure projects, and support the development of documentation related to incidents and configurations.
You are expected to apply your technical knowledge to overcome infrastructure challenges and adhere to established best practices in service delivery.
Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Linux OS internals and kernel tuning
- Expertise in AIX OS, PowerHA, PowerVM, NIM, and VIO servers
- Experience with virtualization (KVM, VMware) and hybrid infrastructure
- Familiarity with CIS hardening, log forwarding, and SIEM integration
- Proficient in security compliance standards and OS-level auditing
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Knowledge of Linux centralized management tools (RedHat Satellite/SUSE Manager) and patch management
- Strong understanding of hybrid IT environments
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically 6+ years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role
- Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis
- Proficiencies in data analysis and technical knowledge
Other Qualifications:
- An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
- Relevant certifications, such as Linux/AIX certifications
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is preferred.
