Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and maintain long-term roadmap, architectural strategies, and modernization initiatives for the Linux environment.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing Linux Engineering team, promoting a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish governance, standards, and best practices for system configuration, security hardening, documentation, and automation.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement for Linux-related technologies.

Operational Excellence and Infrastructure Management:
- Lead the administration and maintenance of all Linux servers across the infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure components in both virtualized and on-premises environments.
- Ensure system stability, uptime, and performance through proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance.

Architecture and Engineering:
- Manage architectural design and operational frameworks for the enterprise Linux environment.
- Drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code adoption using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Oversee system-level improvements and performance optimization.

Performance, Reliability, and Testing:
- Analyze Linux systems for performance benchmarking and compliance with security expectations.
- Ensure environments meet low-latency and high-availability requirements.

Troubleshooting and Support:
- Lead troubleshooting of failures and incidents across the Linux server environment.
- Act as an escalation point for complex production issues and drive root cause analysis.

Scripting and Automation:
- Write and maintain shell scripts and Python scripts for system efficiency and automation of tasks.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is expected based on company standard practices in a multi-national environment.
