About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring safety and security within the property. This includes patrolling all areas, assisting guests with room access, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to emergencies. You will conduct daily inspections for physical hazards, respond to incidents or accidents, and provide first aid/CPR when necessary. Your role will also involve defusing disturbances, maintaining confidentiality of documents, completing incident reports, and escorting unwelcome individuals off the premises. A significant aspect of your work will involve developing positive relationships with guests and colleagues while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
- Monitor closed circuit televisions, perimeter alarms, and fire life safety systems.
- Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
- Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as necessary.
- Assist guests and employees during emergency situations.
- Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, disturbances, or other incidents.
- Defuse guest or employee disturbances and call for outside assistance if necessary.
- Complete incident reports to document all security/loss prevention incidents.
- Handle complaints and resolve safety hazard situations.
- Escort unwelcome individuals from the property without interrupting operations.
- Report to scenes of vehicle accidents or thefts and call for assistance using proper code responses.
- Maintain confidentiality of all security/loss prevention reports/documents and release information only to authorized individuals.
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence, including interviewing relevant parties.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Anticipate and address guest service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
- Move or lift objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
- Related Work Experience: No related work experience required.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
- License or Certification: None required.
