About the Role
This position involves conducting key control audits, monitoring electronic key boxes, and managing the issuance and receipt of master keys, radios, and beepers to ensure the safekeeping of these items. The role includes patrolling all areas of the property, assisting guests with room access, and monitoring Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems. Additionally, the individual will respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required, and assist guests and employees during emergency situations. Responsibilities extend to notifying the appropriate individuals in events of accidents, attacks, or other incidents, defusing disturbances, and escalating to outside assistance when necessary. Accurate documentation through incident reports for all security/loss prevention incidents is paramount.

Responsibilities
- Conduct key control audits and monitor electronic key boxes.
- Issue and receive master keys, radios, and beepers.
- Patrol property areas and assist guests with room access.
- Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems.
- Respond to accidents, contact EMS, or administer first aid/CPR as required.
- Assist guests/employees during emergencies.
- Notify appropriate personnel during incidents.
- Defuse guest/employee disturbances and escort unwelcome persons from the property.
- Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts and call for assistance using proper code responses.
- Complete and maintain a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report.
- Maintain confidentiality of all reports/documents, releasing information only to authorized individuals.
- Provide paperwork for employees requiring outside medical treatment.
- Type, proofread, and copy security reports, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Assist in training and motivating staff while serving as a role model.
- Assign tasks and ensure their timely completion.

Physical Requirements
- Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print).
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and objects over 75 pounds with help.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of different sizes and weights.
- Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and uneven terrain.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No specific experience required.
