Loss Prevention Supervisor

About the Role Patrol all areas of the property to secure rooms and assist guests with room access. Conduct emergency response drills, perform daily physical hazard/safety inspections, conduct investigations, facilitate interviews, and manage key control audits. Monitor closed circuit televisions and alarm systems, authorizing, monitoring, and documenting access to secured areas. Assist guests and employees during emergency situations, responding to accidents, contacting EMS, or administering first aid/CPR as required. Gather information and complete reports while maintaining confidentiality of reports and documents, releasing information to authorized individuals. Defuse disturbances in accordance with company policies and procedures and resolve safety hazard situations. Handle interruptions and complaints, escort unwelcome persons from the property, and ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws. Call for assistance using proper code responses and provide necessary paperwork to employees. Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model and the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management. Complete safety training and certifications, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information while protecting company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs while thanking them with genuine appreciation. Communicate effectively in a clear and professional manner, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely. Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette and develop positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals. Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees while ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards. Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements for this position. Responsibilities include reading and visually verifying information in various formats (e.g., small print), inspecting tools, equipment, or machines for defects, and utilizing computers and/or point of sale systems to enter and locate work-related information. The role requires moving at a speed necessary to respond to work situations, standing, sitting, or walking for an entire work shift, and handling objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, while heavier objects require assistance. Additionally, it involves grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying sizes and weights, as well as navigating narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and traversing sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, including stairs and/or service ramps. Performing activities such as reaching overhead and bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping is also part of the duties. Other reasonable job duties may also be requested by supervisors. Preferred Qualifications - Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. - Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience. - Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience. - License or Certification: None required.
