About the Role & Opportunity
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi, UAE team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced machine learning models to solve complex problems and enhance our technology solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and foster innovation within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning, deep learning (including LLMs), and natural language processing models.
- Prepare and collect data for training/analysis, ensuring data quality.
- Work with state-of-the-art Generative AI models, multi-modal LLMs, contrastive learning, foundation models, and diffusion-based large vision models.
- Build scalable and robust infrastructure for deep learning data, modeling, and evaluation systems.
- Train, fine-tune, optimize, and deploy large language models.
- Apply machine learning optimization techniques like quantization and distillation to reduce resource consumption and latency.
- Utilize vector stores, ranking, and retrieval techniques.
- Enhance developer productivity through the application of ML techniques.
About the Skills, Education & Experience Required
To be considered for this role, you will need 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in machine learning or data science, including managing projects and applying techniques in industry-specific contexts. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred).
- Proven programming skills using ML tools such as C/C++, Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and HuggingFace.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-learn.
- Strong statistical and mathematical skills including linear algebra, probability, and calculus.
- Expertise in data manipulation and analysis using tools like Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
- Ability to design and implement machine learning algorithms and models.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, and cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning.
