Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily work of personnel engaged in the maintenance of pharmacies and clinics, providing custodial and event support as necessary.
- Develop maintenance plans by identifying resources, required materials, categories of work, prioritizing tasks, and understanding store location needs for effective resource allocation.
- Establish and monitor goals, objectives, policies and procedures, providing recommendations for improvements to existing standards.
- Oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive maintenance programs, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and compliance with HQSE (Health, Safety, Quality & Environment) policies.
- Assist in preparing and administering the maintenance operations budget, including monitoring expenditures according to the budget plan.
- Manage petty cash funds, ensuring they are secured and utilized properly.
- Coordinate supply and stock management through the assigned Storekeeper, ensuring inventory accuracy and availability.
- Supervise the implementation of construction, remodeling, and refurbishment projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct weekly meetings to review policies and maintenance procedures, continuously seeking enhancements.
- Carry out regular inspections of pharmacies to evaluate building systems and safety requirements, complying with standards set by the Ministry of Civil Defense.
- Participate in hiring qualified candidates and provide orientation on departmental policies and procedures to new employees.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and coaching to team members to promote proper execution of maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Engage with service providers to discuss service enhancement and assist in contract preparation for maintenance and construction services.
- Participate in reviewing the organizational structure and resource distribution for effective maintenance services across the region.
- Ensure strict compliance with Safety, Health & Environment policies, actively participating in incident reporting and corrective actions.
- Ensure team members undertake necessary technical and safety training to maximize productivity and service quality in pharmacies.
- Engage in lifelong learning activities related to professional development and skills training.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the direct Manager.
Work Environment
- Indoors: 20%
- Outdoors: 80%
- Working Days: 6 days per week
- Days Off: 1 day per week
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour break)
Job Requirements
Education
- BSc Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- 3 years of experience in the MEP Engineering field (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing).
Computer Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite & Basic AutoCAD.
Languages
Employee duties may include additional responsibilities as assigned.
