Managed Services Sr Solution Architect MEA

About the Role:
As a Senior Solution Architect in the Hybrid Cloud organization, you will play a crucial role in designing the company Managed Services-based solutions, with a focus on Hybrid Cloud Management, Private Cloud AI, Managed Services for the company Greenlake solutions, and SAP HANA environments. Your expertise will be sought by the company peers, sales representatives, partners, and customers as you work collaboratively to deliver impactful solutions. This position is primarily onsite at an office, enabling you to engage directly with internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities:
In your role, you will:

• Apply technical knowledge to sales situations, crafting solutions for clients focused on Hybrid Cloud Managed Services.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships at multiple organizational levels, understanding clients' unique business needs.
• Tailor solutions to address client requirements, coordinating with industry experts as needed.
• Revise service designs based on client feedback and emergent opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate acceptance of proposed solutions and ensure successful implementation.
• Create financial models detailing cost of service and pricing strategies for designed solutions.
• Manage multiple service opportunities concurrently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Objectives:
Your key objectives will include:

• Serving as the technical expert for the company sales team.
• Assessing client needs to create tailored solutions that align with the company services offerings.
• Developing solution proposals, pricing, presentations, and other client communications.
• Identifying potential problem areas and addressing them proactively.
• Combating competitive threats in accounts and educating clients on the company's value propositions.
• Ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation, orienting involved teams to the solution design.
• Engaging with peers on technical matters and contributing to knowledge sharing.

Education and Experience Required:

• Over 15 years of industry experience in a Managed Services environment in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Master's degree in a relevant domain is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Architecting:

  • Design services-oriented platform solutions addressing customer business problems.
  • Create and provide architectural direction for medium to large IT-based solutions.
  • Visualize customer transformation needs to architect appropriate solutions.

• Business Acumen:

  • Identify technical risks regarding solutions and communicate them effectively.
  • Translate customer requirements into formal documents and proposals.

• Technical:

  • Knowledge of Managed Services, AI-Ops, DevOps, and ITIL frameworks.
  • Understanding of operational trends related to customer requirements.

• Engagement Delivery:

  • Write Statements of Work for small to medium solutions.
  • Apply project management methods to track and achieve project goals.

• Opportunity Pursuit:

  • Lead business development activities for small to medium opportunities.
  • Prepare and present proposals and bids effectively.

• Leadership:

  • Provide thought leadership and assist with building delivery capabilities across projects.

• Consulting:

  • Build and manage relationships within customer IT management teams and convey the company's technology benefits.

• Communication:

  • Design and present impactful presentations tailored for multiple audiences.
